Currently, there are two main types of permits. Non-routed and routed.

Non-routed Permits -

Contractors available online here
Home Owners available online here

Non-Routed permits make up the bulk of permits we issue. They are those which do not require approval by other agencies such as zoning, power, etc. The following types of permits are available online :

Other types may be added over time (Coming 2021 building permits)

Routed Permits

While the safer at home order is in effect building permits requiring a signoff from other agencies will be assessed on an individual basis to see if we can issue via email/fax/phone, etc. Otherwise-

Permits requiring a signoff from other agencies will need to be brought into our office to be issued.

Please contact our office for a routing sheet if you do not utilize the online option.

Commercial Solar PV Permits require a review prior to issuing the permit. These can be submitted via our commercial review system here.

Other Permits not Listed above

Sign Permits - Require the sign permit application from this link. The application may be emailed to permits@prbd.com along with supporting documents.

Other permits may be faxed or emailed to our office using the forms available on this page

Addresses requiring approval:

You may receive a message when applying for a permit that you need to contact our office before a permit can be issued. This may be due to several reasons such as it being an historic building or that there is a violation on the property.
