Currently, there are two main types of permits. Non-routed and routed.

Non-routed Permits

Non-Routed permits make up the bulk of permits we issue. These are permits which do not require approval by other agencies such as zoning, utilities, etc.

The following types of permits are available online :

Other types may be added over time (Planned for 2022 select building permits)

Contractors available online here

Home Owners available online here

Routed Permits

Building permits requiring a signoff from other agencies will be assessed on an individual basis to see if we can issue via email, fax/phone, etc.

Permits requiring a signoff from other agencies will need to be brought into our office's attention to be issued.

Routing sheets can be obtained and tracked via your online account. You may also request routing directly from our office however it will not be tied to your online account.

Commercial Solar PV Permits require a review prior to issuing the permit. These can be submitted via our commercial review system here.

Other Permits not Listed above

Addresses requiring special approval:

You may receive a message when applying for a permit that you need to contact our office before a permit can be issued. This may be due to several reasons such as it being a historic building or that there is a violation on the property.
